Simpleembed documentation
Simpleembed puts an Instagram feed on any website with one script tag. Connect an Instagram Business or Creator account — yours, or a client's via a shareable auth link — style a grid or carousel widget, and paste the embed. Posts sync automatically every day, images are proxied so they never expire, and every feed is also available as a JSON API.
Guides
Getting started
Create an account, connect an Instagram source, build a feed, customize it, and paste the embed — the full walkthrough.
Embedding & API
The script tag, how auto-resize works, the direct iframe alternative, and the JSON API with its full response shape.
Client connections
Send clients a shareable auth link so they connect their own Instagram account — no Simpleembed account needed on their side.
FAQ
Account requirements, sync cadence, image expiry, watermarks and plans, and how clients revoke access.
How it fits together
- Sources are connected Instagram accounts. Connect your own directly, or let a client connect theirs through your workspace auth link.
- Feeds are built from a source. Each feed has its own layout settings, embed code, and JSON endpoint — one source can power several feeds.
- Embeds render a feed on your site through a single script tag that injects an auto-resizing iframe.
