Terms of Service
Effective date: 21 July 2026
The service
Simpleembed lets you connect Instagram professional accounts and display their posts as embeddable feeds and a JSON API on websites you control. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity in your workspace, including sources connected by clients through your shared auth link. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter this agreement.
Instagram content and the Meta platform
Connecting an Instagram account requires that you (or your client) own or control that account and approve access on Instagram's consent screen. Content pulled from Instagram remains the property of its owner; you grant us the technical license needed to store, process, and display it through your feeds. Your use of Instagram data through Simpleembed must also comply with Meta's platform terms and Instagram's terms of use. Access can be revoked at any time from Instagram, which deletes the connected source and its synced content from our systems.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to display content you have no right to display, to violate any law or third-party right, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell the service itself. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Plans and billing
The free plan includes one connected source and one watermarked feed. The Pro plan ($7/month) removes those limits and the watermark. Payments are processed by Stripe; subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, which you can do at any time from the billing page — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices may change with reasonable advance notice.
Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" without uptime guarantees. Feeds depend on the Instagram API, whose availability and policies are outside our control. We may modify or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely we will give reasonable notice.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simpleembed is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (emvaernes@gmail.com). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. On termination, your workspace data — including connected sources, tokens, and synced posts — is deleted.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes are subject to the ordinary Norwegian courts. Questions: emvaernes@gmail.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
